In 2022, Quintessa Marketing founder Lauren Von truly made a philanthropic impact in and around Oklahoma City. By donating over $3 million to local charities, she was able to spread her generosity across the city, county, and state, significantly enhancing the missions of local organizations. Von’s contributions underscore her commitment to fostering a stronger, more resilient community, particularly at a time when many organizations were still grappling with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Supporting Women
With her history as a single mother who grew her business from the ground up, Von is particularly invested in charities that help children and working moms. Thus, among the beneficiaries was ReMerge of Oklahoma County, a non-profit dedicated to restoring women to their families and our community by serving high-risk, high-needs mothers facing non-violent felony offenses. As Von put it, “ReMerge’s mission to demonstrate the power of rehabilitation speaks to my faith in redemption.”
Donating Time
Von’s philanthropy did not stop at financial contributions. She donated time to help advance women in business, volunteered with a food bank, and participated in outreach through her faith community at Life.Church. By doing so, Von demonstrated that meaningful change is possible when individuals step forward with compassion and a commitment to giving back.
Anyone Can Make a Difference
Von’s actions in 2022 showcased the profound impact that targeted charitable efforts can have, ultimately fostering a more supportive and connected community. Her efforts highlighted the importance of local philanthropy and its role in addressing the unique needs of a community.
