Quintessa Marketing is proud to announce a transformative $6 million gift from our founder and CEO, Lauren Von Mingee, and her husband, Leo Mingee, to establish the Leo Mingee and Lauren Von Mingee First-Generation Business Scholars Fund at the University of Oklahoma’s Michael F. Price College of Business.
This historic endowment will provide essential financial support to first-generation students pursuing business degrees, helping to eliminate financial barriers and create opportunities for the next generation of leaders across the state. The $6 million donation contributes to the university’s broader Lead On campaign, which aims to raise $500 million for student support initiatives.
The newly established scholarship fund is the largest of its kind at OU dedicated to first-generation students. It will provide recipients with ongoing financial support throughout their four-year undergraduate journey, allowing them to focus on their education and future careers without the stress of tuition costs. As Lauren put it, “I built Quintessa without a degree, but I know that education changes lives.”
At Quintessa Marketing, we believe in the power of giving back. As part of our mission, we allocate 50% of our company’s profits to charitable initiatives, focusing on education, equal opportunity employment, and community enrichment. This scholarship fund is an extension of that commitment, helping first-generation students access the education and resources they need to succeed.
