In 2023, Lauren Von, the founder of Quintessa Marketing, continued to make a significant philanthropic impact in and around Oklahoma City. She increased her donations to just over $5 million to various local charities and faith organizations, part of her ongoing commitment to showing that, as she puts it, “If you can make a difference, you should make a difference.”

Starting from a Place of Understanding

Von knows firsthand how difficult it can be to start a business, especially for single moms. When she founded Quintessa Marketing, she was a struggling single mother. This led directly to her support for charities like Branch15, an organization dedicated to providing safe living spaces for marginalized women and their children in the Oklahoma City area. She’s also been a long-time supporter of Infant Crisis Services, an organization that helps babies and toddlers receive diapers and formula during their critical early development.

Why Charity?

Von’s philanthropy is deeply informed by her faith. A member of the Life.Church community, she sees giving back as a natural part of her beliefs. “Living your faith is impactful. I can say I’m a Christian, but it’s really a question of what I do.” Von continued her donations in support of the Youversion Bible App, which has already been installed on over 500 million unique devices all over the world.

Making a Difference

Von’s efforts in 2023 illustrated the substantial impact that well-directed charitable actions can have, fostering a more connected and supportive community. Her work highlighted the critical role of local philanthropy in meeting community-specific needs, inspiring others to recognize that everyone has the potential to make a meaningful difference.
